At present, the Big West of California facility has approximately 212 full time employees, about 200 contractor personnel, and fifty construction related staff.  Following construction and start up of the Clean Fuels Project (CFP), those figures could rise to 290 full time employees, an increase of about 45 people. The most significant increase in personnel would be connected to the construction phase of the CFP. In 2007 and 2008 that figure could be in the range of 650 to 750 construction staff. At the peak of construction, that figure could rise to over 1,200. Estimates on the construction time frame are approximately 21 months from the start to completion with the peak in personnel working on the project from January 2008 to July 2008.
